A 10 ton boiler is an industrial steam boiler designed to produce 10,000 kg of steam per hour (10 TPH), equivalent to approximately 7 MW of thermal capacity. Depending on fuel type, boiler structure, and working pressure, the reference 2026 EXW price ranges from approximately USD 55,000 to 185,000 for WNS and SZS gas/oil-fired boilers and SZL coal/biomass-fired boilers.
A 10 ton steam boiler is designed for plants where steam supply has become a critical production utility rather than an auxiliary heat source. At this capacity, boiler selection increasingly depends on continuous operating hours, peak-load stability, steam pressure, and future production growth. WNS provides a compact solution for standard gas/oil-fired applications, while SZS and SZL are better suited to demanding operating conditions and can be configured for steam pressures up to 2.5 MPa. For plants expecting further expansion, a 10 TPH system can also be planned as the first stage of a larger multi-boiler steam station.

Note: 1、All projections are theoretical estimates assuming constant fuel prices. Fuel calorific values and efficiencies are expressed on an LHV basis (Natural Gas: 8,500 kcal/m³ | Biomass: 4,000 kcal/kg | Bituminous Coal: 5,000 kcal/kg). 2、Thermal efficiencies are standardized baseline values for comparison only; actual performance varies with fuel quality, moisture content, and operating conditions. 3、For condensing natural gas boilers, efficiencies above 100% reflect LHV-based latent heat recovery. 4、Extra operating costs such as electricity, water, labor, and maintenance are excluded. 5、Intermediate calculations use full precision; displayed figures are rounded. |

The reference 2026 EXW price of a 10 ton steam boiler:
10 ton gas/oil fired steam boiler (WNS): USD 55,000 – 85,000
10 ton gas/oil fired steam boiler (SZS): USD 85,000 – 140,000
10 ton coal/biomass fired steam boiler (SZL): USD 110,000 – 185,000
The final price depends on working pressure, fuel system, burner selection, auxiliary equipment, and project requirements.
A 10-ton boiler provides high-capacity steam output and stable operation. It is commonly used as the main steam source for medium-to-large industrial plants, centralized steam systems, and continuous production processes.
A 10-ton boiler is suitable for factories with stable and continuous steam demand. To maintain good combustion efficiency and reliable operation, long-term operation below 30% load should be avoided.
In addition to the boiler room, a biomass or coal boiler requires space for fuel storage, ash handling, and fuel conveying equipment. The required auxiliary area may add 50%–100% or more of the boiler room area, depending on fuel type, storage capacity, and feeding system design.
6-ton boiler: Commonly used for small-to-medium steam demand applications, such as food processing and textile washing.
8-ton boiler: Often selected by medium-sized manufacturing plants with stable steam requirements.
10-ton boiler: Suitable for medium-to-large industrial facilities, centralized steam supply systems, and high-volume steam processes.
The cold-formed outer casing provides good structural strength and air-tightness. Its sealed design reduces air leakage during combustion, while the insulation layer helps reduce heat loss. The modular panel structure also makes transportation and on-site assembly easier.
Feed-water quality control and tube inspection are key maintenance tasks for SZS boilers. Proper water treatment helps prevent scale formation and tube overheating. Other maintenance items include burner adjustment, fuel leakage checks, flame monitoring system inspection, and cleaning of heat recovery equipment such as economizers and condensers.
Modern SZS gas/oil boilers can be equipped with automatic control systems, including automatic ignition, load adjustment, and water level control. Safety functions include flame monitoring, overpressure protection, and fuel leakage detection. Oxygen trim control can be added according to system requirements.
The site should have a suitable foundation designed according to the boiler operating weight and local engineering requirements. Adequate access space is also required for transportation and lifting equipment. Depending on the boiler type, 50–100 ton or larger cranes may be needed for unloading and installation.
